January pictures

So I got lazy this month taking pictures. I think after the holidays when things slowed down, I let them slow down tooo much.
We decided to wean Seth from his binkie. It was getting to the point where he was being picky on even what color binky he was gonna have that day! We would only let him use it during naps and at night but during the day he would constantly ask for it.
So he actually did really well. I just told them that they were broken (I cut the tip of one so he could see) and he would whine a bit, but didnt throw any tantrums. The only bad thing is that he takes longer to fall asleep and doesn't sleep as long. I didnt think that a 12 hour night time and 3 hour day nap would last forever though! I wish!
Currently Seth and I have a cold but he seems to be getting better and I seem to be getting worse.

Anyways, on to the pictures!

Hanging out with Cousin Peytons. PJs are cool!

Reading one of his favorite books with Pampa. This is a small example of the Seth haircutting experience. This is actually a less tortured picture... the others would have children's services called on me. I hope he grows out of this.

The after picture. And showing off his coloring skillzHe thinks it is hilarious to pretend to sleep in our bed. Goofball.

2009 is knocking!

Time when by sooo slowly when I was a kid. I remember when my birthday or Christmas felt like it would NEVER get here. And now.... Christmas, already?! And now Christmas is gone already?! How is that possible?

We had a GREAT Christmas. It really was one of the most fun times that I can remember since being little. Having a not-such-a-baby-anymore during Christmas time is so much fun. Shopping for them is fun, watching them open gifts is fun, and starting new family traditions is great.

We spent New Years Eve with Tanner's family. We had dinner and celebrated Tami's birthday too. Then we spent all of Christmas Day there too. The kids had fun opening gifts and we had fun snacking on all the cookies Carina made. Having so many little ones was a lot of fun, hectic, but fun. They were so impatient to open up gifts!

Saturday Matt and Krystal were able to come down and we had Christmas with my family. Uncle Michael and Tesla won the award for best gift given. They got Seth a little Brio Train set and he is in love. He has wanted to play with it non stop since. My mom made Peyton and Seth a huge crocheted Eeyore and Tigger and they are so fabulous. And Tanner got me a much needed 750gb external hard drive. He says that it will take me awhile before I fill it up (HA! he must not know me well enough).

On to the pictures!

Joey, cute as ever!

Singing Happy Birthday to Tami!
Toasting Tami's birthday. The little ones got in on the action too :D
Tossing the "glasses" outside. The boys LOVED this.
Playing with Evan. They both ended up dressing the same both Christmas eve and Christmas day... unintentially but so cute.

Christmas morning. Opening up stockings with mommy and daddy

New Electric toothbrush!
So he has always put up a fight trying to brush his teeth but now that we have the electric toothbrush it has been a dream! SOOO worth the money.

Elliott playing on his new leapster (or whatever it is called). He loved it- Maama's know the cool toys!
Helping cousin McKenzie open up gifts
Stopping and making him say cheese was cruel and unusual punishment... as you can see from his face
So my pictures are out of order... singing Christmas carols before the present onslaught beginsRandom picture of Atticus. We just got the curtains for Christmas and he has been playing under them a lot

Saturday (Christmas with the Cross family). Playing with Uncle Michael
These are the ones my mom made. They are adorable!

THE best gift if you ask Seth. Uncle Michael is the best!
I think I must have taken 30 pictures of these two together trying to get a picture of them both looking. TODDLERS!!
Opening a gift from Mommy and Daddy. He loves animal books.
I am so bad about keeping this up to date every few weeks. Mostly I dont like the photo uploader... takes forever and never puts them in the right order. So it ends up taking me a few days to get a post together and posted. Anyone have any good ideas?

More pictures

I realized I skipped a whole folder of pictures... so here are more... out of order, but oh well.

Hanging with Cousin Peyton

We went to the pumpkin patch with Maama and Pampa. It was a little on the cold side, but Seth had a blast.

Riding the tractor to the patch.
King of the Hay Bails!
Navigating the haybail maze. He actually did really well.
Rubber ducky races! Ready..... Set..... GOOOOOOO
Storytime! Seth's favorite
K.I.S.S.I.N.G...... Loving on Hannah.
We went to the children's museum with Peyton and Hannah. They had a blast.

MMMMM.... Jello...... Actually, this is the first and last time he has had it. He wont touch it now go figure.

Lastly, I forgot to post a picture of Seth's whole costume.

Seth helping Daddy play the guitar. We might have a future musician on our hands.
Morning Sunshine!
YUM! Red Robin has good spaghetti. But beware of Robin.... he walks around the tables greeting the kids, but Seth was freaked out by him!

Enjoying one of the last hot days.

Loving on Daddy. Some days he freely gives kisses in abundance, other days he gets mischevious and we have to beg for them!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Halloween. We went downtown with Seth's Maama and cousins. He had a lot of fun learning how to go door to door and get candy. Even though he had no idea what he was getting it was fun for him. After that we went to the fair grounds. They hold a harvest carnival each year. This time we went with Nana and GrandDad. He had fun with the games and rides and the petting zoo. Oh and he was The Man with The Yellow Hat....

Playing with Aunt Carina. He just loves his Aunts and Uncles and enjoys playing with them.
Playing on the kitchen floor with mommy. He just learned how to use the push toy. Push down the pilot and away it goes!!

Whoa, where did it go?

So suddenly I found myself in November! Where did that time go? October flew by way too fast.

Things are pretty much the same here. We still have our house on the market, only as of tomorrow we are signing a lease to rent it out. The market has been terrible and we have decided to just hang on to it and wait and see how the market does next year. With the election right around the corner, we are very uncertain of what might happen.

Seth has been amazing! He learns in leaps and bounds. It actually really surprises me, even though I see it in him time and time again. He is also very funny, posing for pictures, teasing us on purpose with things, just overall being silly.
His favorite thing right now is books. He sits and reads by himself and he also brings us books to read to him. He can now name things to us if we point to them and he points to things he wants to know the names of.
Seth has also really been enjoying cars and trucks. Making VRRROOMMMMing sounds and driving them over the couches.

Pictures to come!

Pictures Galore!! post #4

For Krystal's birthday we went up to Portland and stayed the weekend.

One of the days we went to a splash park and the kids had a blast! Of course my little water baby couldnt get enough of it. I think he would have stayed the whole day if it hadnt been a tad chilly.... so much for summer weather...

The other day we went to the zoo. It was Seth's first time and he LOVED it. I think it was soo much fun to watch his reaction and see how much it excited him. The only way to tear him away from an exhibit was to tell him that we were going to the next one!

Seth was a little scared of the T-Rex....
